Editing those pipelines

Managed to sort out an automation pipeline at work. I am no expert when it comes to setting up a code pipeline, but I wrote some automated Postman tests and this afternoon, managed to integrate them into our pipeline. What this means is that if a developer deploys some bad code into our test environments, it should mean that the tests will flag up any issues.

Discipline keeps rolling

I am defiantly trying my hardest with keeping myself active and mentally grounded as we are mid this lockdown. I haven't posted in a while, but thought i'd give an update. I have been really enjoying the FIIT app! A British run fitness app which has been really fun. In addition I have managed to get the stair sprinting in too. I think now I am most looking forward to the government announcement or revealing of the release of lockdown hopefully for the final time on the 22nd Feb.

Welcome 2021

Well what a weird Christmas. I wasn't able to go home but spent the time in South Yorkshire with Alex and his ever welcoming family. I moved out of my apartment over the new year, meaning the start of my move to my new apartment at some point this year. It's been noticeably colder, and without mentioning the fact that we are in another lockdown, it's been a very positive and upbeat start to the year.  I want to post some of the things that are keeping me motivated while, again, in this restricted world... stay tuned.

I’m a contestant!

I have some news... I will be a contestant on Alan Carr's Price Is Right on Christmas Eve!... Now I have kept that quiet for a while, mainly because it was filmed back in the Summer of 2019. It was meant to be aired last Christmas, but due to a backlog of programmes it was delayed to Christmas 2020. Anyway, so now it's happening. To be honest the whole day was a blur and a lot of fun and wearing a Christmas jumper in August was weird. It was filmed in Salford nr Manchester. I am called down from the audience and face contestant row. Give it a watch: ITV 1 at 8:15pm on Christmas Eve 2020

Police 883

Loving the Lewis Hamilton brand of clothing โ€œPoliceโ€. Alex was very kind and bought me this jacket for Christmas! ๐Ÿ˜

Cant wait till Christmas

Seems that Christmas has all of a sudden, crept on us. Hearing the songs on the radio are actually more pleasing than normal years. I think a mixture of getting to see the family and the fear of presents not arriving fill me with mixed emotions ๐Ÿ˜‚.. I also have just found out the exact date and time that Alan Carrs: Price is right is on the telly. Now that just fills me with nerves. Regardless, I cannot wait for Christmas!

Took this in St Peters Square last night

Back in Tier 3

I can't tell you how good it feels to the the gym open again. Even just a little bit of "the old life" back is a good feeling, regardless of the level of tier your area is in. I get the feeling that the lock down has done the job and as long as the country is careful at Christmas, plus the announcement of the vaccine yesterday, then we should be on the right track. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

Will you have the vaccine?

A very interesting debate I just had on Instagram with @kylemmcgovern. Would you have a vaccine if others depended on it? Initially, I have been quite against the idea as I am a believer in the immune system in humans managing to cope when you are fit and healthy, also the real question is would you take it for others benefit? Essentially, what we have been doing so far is protecting others, so surely we would have it for others? There could be many factors involved. Would you have it if mandatory?

Vaccine Approved

This mornings news was a delight. Finally after a long process, of what apparently can take a decade, a corona virus vaccine has been approved! So so pleased that the vulnerable can be vaccinated and hopefully we can see people not admitted to hospital for covid. Hopefully this can be rolled out as quickly as possible. If I get offered it I will turn it down, in the hope that someone else who really needs it can have it.
Music Production

School of Electronic Music

I am excited to be enrolling at SEM this coming February. Teaching myself to make dance music that I love! I will keep my blog updated with my progress ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿผ ...

Leaving the isolation

Hopefully this will be the last time we have to leave a lockdown. As we have been edging into winter it's certainly felt harder this time round. But now we have alot more to look forward to and to be more optimistic. Enough with this now.

Meet Austin

Picked up Alexโ€™s pup called Austin. Frenchie and he is so adorable. Home safe and sound..

Tough cycle to Wilmslow

Managed a cycle to Wilmslow on my day off. Had to get the train back as it chucked it down ๐Ÿ˜‚

Nearly moving

I cannot wait to move into my new place!
