About Me


I’m 33 and originally from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, now living in the tech powerhouse of the north, Manchester. I have had a varied education and a foundation level degree but after turning my career around I have over 5 years experience in the digital and tech industry. I currently work as a QA Lead for a company in the heart of the city.

Outside of work, you will find me working my physical and mental health, either at the gym, visiting family and friends or teaching myself a new skill. I also have in interest and a passion for Radio, Djing and Music.


QA Lead
MuscleFood, Manchester, 2021 – Present

As of October 2021, I was promoted to the QA Lead at MuscleFood. My main responsibilities are for the overall Quality Assurance of the platform and also, to head up the testing on the re platform for the business. I am responsible for the QA team at Musclefood.

QA Engineer
MuscleFood, Manchester, 2020 – Present

MuscleFood is a renowned online food retailer and delivery service, active since 2014. I am working as a QA engineer on a specific work stream with the aim to help rebuild the current platform. So far have been involved with the implementation of the new checkout process, automation test building and assisting in general arising work since starting in October 2020.

Pimberly is a highly regarded SaaS online product working directly with large retailers in the data enrichment of online products. I have been working alongside the development team to analyse and test their work to meet the companies standards before release to the customer.

Software Tester
Toolbox Group, Suffolk, 2017 – 2019

Toolbox Group, a Digital Marketing company based in the UK, Poland and the US. The company mainly specialises within the retail industry all over the world and its main product being the Mallcomm App for retailers. I was promoted to Software Quality Analyst from PHP Developer and had the responsibility of ensuring a high standard for all of the digital products and mobile apps before they reached clients hands. I reported to management and worked directly with developers to meet the deadlines of the work.

I started at Toolbox Group as a PHP developer. Quickly gaining my skills within web development, understanding code and also digital infrastructure. Studying outside of work to better and strengthen my knowledge.

Planning and Construction of many different types of events, directing the sound and lighting teams. Planning many of the technical applications. Controlling logistics of the catering companies, working in London, festivals and Scotland. I also was a part time DJ for an additional company doing work in London. Head of technical for the event company.
